Jenna Krynicki

Graduate Student

Jenna joined the Weihs group in August of 2018. She earned her BSE in Materials Science & Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in 2018 and her MSE from JHU in 2023. During her first project, she worked on examining the microstructural evolution and mechanical properties of magnesium alloys processed via equal channel angular extrusion. In 2020, Jenna was awarded a National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) fellowship. Currently, Jenna is working on an American Petroleum Institute (API)-funded project, studying the impact of high temperature hydrogen attack (HTHA) on the microstructure and creep behavior of carbon steel exposed to high temperature hydrogen.
