Shane joined the Weihs group in August of 2016. He earned his B.E. in Chemical Engineering, his B.S. in Science, Technology and Society, and his M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in May 2016. After graduating, he served for two years as an alumni trustee for the Stevens Institute of Technology. He is currently Co-Chair of the Graduate Representative Organization at JHU. His research focuses on the fundamentals and applications of reactive nanolaminate materials.
