Will joined the Weihs group in May of 2024. He completed degrees in Mechanical Engineering (B.S.) and Mathematics (B.A.) at Lafayette College in May of 2022. As a Maryland native with an interest in hands-on craftsmanship, Will worked in the intervening years for CraftWright Timber Frames, a Maryland-based company specializing in the traditional trade of timber framing. In the Weihs group, Will works on projects in reactive materials. In his free time, Will enjoys reading, writing, rock climbing, exercise, and thinking about materials science.
