The Honorable Stephen Welby, the Assistant Secretary of Defense visits the Weihs lab and learned about the Controlled Microstructural Architecture and BioAgent Defeat projects. Dr. Allen Dalton, program manager for DTRA, also visited.

Prof. Weihs discussed the BioAgent Defeat project with Mr. Welby, Dr. Dalton, Prof. KT Ramesh and Dr. Lakshman (not pictured).

Mr. Welby holds a piece of weaved copper while Prof. Weihs, Ju Xue, and Michael Ruiz explain their work.
