Weihs group members received a record four fellowships this year! Jackson (third year PhD) received the DoW SMART Scholarship with the Naval Surface Warfare Center – Indian Head Division. Sophia (first year PhD), Veronica (UG Senior), and Andrew (UG Senior) all received the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship! Veronica will be attending Cornell for her PhD in Biomedical Engineering, while Andrew will be attending MIT for his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering this fall.
