Michael joined the Weihs Group in September of 2021 as a lab technician after recently finishing an ORAU fellowship at the Army Research Laboratory Adelphi. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a BS in Materials Science in 2020. Michael is involved with characterizing reactive powders’ combustion and ignition properties for chemical warfare defeat formulations.
